Another Day in Pandemia
So how are you adapting to your new Pandemic Lifestyle? We’re all making adjustments and many of us are discovering that there are lessons to be learned. I think I speak for all of us when I say we’ve learned a new gratitude for what we are missing…see our friends, going out to eat, attending events and of course SHOPPING without fear. But we’re also learning that it’s nice to spend time with family, be creative with our dinners, go for long walks and play with the dog more. Some of us are being forced to expand our technology skills as we navigate working from home, and Zoom now has a completely new meaning to many of us.
I hope you’re trying to some new things and remembering those old cards games you used to play. I hope you’re daring to try that Pinterest recipe and picking up that novel you’ve been meaning to read.
I pray you find the light in the darkness. I recently heard someone say that
FAITH IS THE CANDLE IN THE DARKNESS
You can’t see very far ahead of you with just a candle, but with every new step, you discover a little more. Hang on to your candle and keep moving forward. Your faith is built on an unshakeable God who has promised to keep you safe.
You will walk safely and never stumble;
You will rest without a worry and sleep soundly.
So don’t be afraid of sudden disasters or storms that strike those who are evil.
You can be sure that the Lord will protect you from harm.
